I find the stone, cut it into slabs, cut out the shape and polish the stone in my humble little shop in Arizona. After all of that, I sit down in my studio and hammer the wire to fit the stone. This pendant is made of Brazilian Aquamarine and hand wrapped in 14 gauge sterling silver wire. This Aquamarine piece is polished on the top and the bottom.
Aquamarine evokes the purity of crystalline waters, and the exhilaration and relaxation of the sea. It is calming, soothing, and cleansing, and inspires truth, trust and letting go. In ancient lore, Aquamarine was believed to be the treasure of mermaids, and was used by sailors as a talisman of good luck, fearlessness and protection. It was also considered a stone of eternal youth and happiness. Size: 1 3/4" x 1/8".
